Things are coming together and at the point where I can announce that Vancouver Comicon will be returning to Heritage Hall on Sunday, September 12. Guests will be announced soon; we’re sticking with BC-based creators for this first show back.
A COVID Safety Plan is still being finalized (apparently the government may change things again at the start of September), but we are currently planning on setting up one door for entry and another for exit, hand cleaning stations, and ongoing cleaning of the washrooms. All attendees must wear a mask when in the Hall.
The Hall is still undergoing seismic upgrades and roof replacement, and the building will most likely still be under wraps and look like a construction site in September.
Currently, we’re taking bookings for creator and publisher spaces. Dealer spaces will open up when the guest announcement is made. If you’re a creator or small-press publisher and want to book space, email lswong@uniserve.com for information.
